Annual Data Update (Existing Family)

For the upcoming school year: The district wants to ensure that the most current information is on file for students. Opening May 1, all current Platte Valley families are asked to use Alma Start to review and update the information we currently have available. Families new to Platte Valley, please see “New Admissions”.

New Admissions (New Family)

For the upcoming school year: Online admissions for new families to Platte Valley opens May 1.

If you have other children enrolled at Platte Valley but need to add a new student, please see “Annual Data Update”. You will have the option to enroll additional students through the update.

Admissions, Data Update, Registration, Alma

The Annual Data Update (Existing Family) school links provided below MUST BE used to review and update student information for those already in the district. Additionally, any new students you need to enroll can be added to your family within your account. You must have an active Alma Parent Portal Account to begin the enrollment process.

Do You Have An Alma Account??

I have an Alma Parent Portal Account:

  • Click the appropriate school link above to open the Alma Login page.
  • Log in with your username and password.
  • At Home, click on "Alma Start Forms and Tasks".

I have an Alma Parent Portal Account but don't remember my username and/or password:

  • Click the appropriate school link above to open the Alma Login page.
  • Choose either "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username". You will be walked through a process to change your password and/or verify username.

I don't have an Alma Parent Portal Account:

This New Admissions (New Family) link must be used by new families to the district.

If this/these child(ren) have previously attended Platte Valley Schools, please contact the school prior to enrolling.

If you already have students in the district and are wanting to enroll a new student in your family, please use the Annual Data Update link.

Parents can complete this application without having to create an Alma Parent Portal account. Once your family's application has been processed and approved, you will later be directed to create an account.

NOTE: Completing this application does not guarantee enrollment to the district. Please DO NOT send your child(ren) to school without notification from the district that your application has been approved.

Preschool Admissions

Preschool Admissions is a Three-step process:

  1. Initial Admission Request - to start the process with an admission request, complete the items within the Alma Start online data update or new admissions links (see Alma blocks on this page).
  2. Admission Confirmation - expect to receive a generic email confirmation indicating that your application has been submitted.
  3. Application Status Confirmation - notification of preschool acceptance, on hold (wait list) or denial will be emailed to you. Please allow for some processing time.

Full Day Rates

2 days a week………..$385.00 per month 3 days a week………..$545.00 per month 4 days a week…………$715.00 per month 5 days a week…………$810.00 per month

Half Day Rates

2- ½ days a week…….$290.00 per month 3- ½ days a week…….$405.00 per month 4-½ days a week….….$530.00 per month 5- ½ days a week…….$605.00 per month

A $75.00 non-refundable registration fee is due upon enrollment to reserve your child's spot and is then applied towards supplies and educational expenses throughout the school year.

Additional Preschool Admissions Requirements
  • Children must be 3-5 years old to attend PVELC.
  • To apply for the UPK for the 2024-25 school year, your child needs to be at least 3 years old on or before 8/1/2024. 
  • Preschool registration is ongoing throughout the year.
  • Program Options - for more info, click here
  • If your child will be 5 years old by 8/1/2024, your child is age-eligible for Kindergarten and is no longer eligible for UPK.
  • UPK is an application program.
